FAQ

About the Work

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused, inward attention — not sleep, not unconsciousness, but a deep receptivity in which the subconscious mind becomes directly accessible. In ordinary waking life, the conscious mind acts as a filter, evaluating and overriding what it receives. In trance, that filter softens. What’s underneath (the beliefs, emotional imprints, and patterns that have been quietly shaping your experience) can finally be reached and worked with.

The Divine Awakening Method works at this level intentionally and precisely. Rather than addressing the surface expression of a pattern, we go to where it was formed and shift it there — at its actual source.

Most hypnotherapy works with suggestion — introducing new ideas or behaviors at the subconscious level to replace unwanted ones. It’s effective for specific, surface-level changes like habits or phobias.

The Divine Awakening Method goes considerably deeper. Rather than suggesting change, we access the subconscious material directly (the emotional imprint, the past experience, the core belief) and work with it at its root. Sessions can move through past lives, connect with higher consciousness, clear at an energetic level, and address patterns that have been present across multiple areas of life simultaneously. The work unfolds in real time, guided by what emerges for you specifically. No two sessions are the same.

This is one of the most common concerns — and almost never accurate. The belief that you can’t be hypnotized usually comes from the idea that hypnosis means losing control or going completely blank, which isn’t what happens. Nearly everyone enters trance naturally every day — in the moments just before sleep, during deep focus, or when you’re absorbed in something and time disappears. Trance is a natural state.

What makes the difference is willingness, not ability. If you’re open to the process and follow the guidance, the subconscious will respond. The depth of trance varies from person to person , and even lighter states allow for meaningful, lasting work.

The Session

You will not lose control at any point. Hypnosis is not what is portrayed in stage shows or films. you remain aware, present, and in complete control throughout the session. You can speak, ask questions, and end the session at any time you choose.

Most clients are aware of everything that happens during the session and remember it clearly afterward. Occasionally, particularly in very deep trance states, some details may feel dreamlike in recall — similar to how you might remember a vivid dream. This doesn’t diminish the effects of the work; the subconscious integration continues regardless.

Falling into a very deep state that resembles sleep is possible — and it doesn’t mean the session isn’t working. The subconscious remains active and receptive even in these deeper states. The work continues at a level below conscious awareness, and the integration still occurs.

That said, active participation ( responding, exploring, and engaging with what arises ) tends to produce a richer, more conscious experience. The preparation guidelines (avoiding caffeine and eating lightly beforehand) help keep you alert enough to be present while still going deep.

Most clients feel a noticeable sense of calm and lightness after a session — similar to the feeling after a long, restful sleep. Some feel emotionally tender, particularly after sessions involving deep release. Others feel energized and unusually clear. All of these are normal.

The days following a session can bring continued integration — insights that arrive gradually, shifts in how you respond to familiar situations, or a quiet sense that something has genuinely changed. It’s recommended to keep the rest of your day after a session gentle, and to drink plenty of water.

It depends on what you’re working with. A single session is powerful for a focused shift — addressing one specific area, releasing something that’s been present, or exploring a particular question. Many clients experience lasting change from a single session.

For deeper pattern work — the kind that has shaped multiple areas of life over many years — a package of three sessions allows for a more complete arc: clearing what created the pattern, resetting the emotional and subconscious responses around it, and stabilizing something new in its place. If you’re unsure, the free Clarity Consultation is the right starting point.

Before You Begin

Preparation is simple but matters. The goal is to arrive in a state that allows you to go deep — present, clear, and physically comfortable.

  • Eat lightly — have a light meal at least 3 hours before the session. A full stomach makes it harder to relax fully and reach deeper states.
  • No caffeine — avoid coffee or caffeinated drinks for at least 3 hours prior. Caffeine keeps the nervous system stimulated in a way that can interfere with going deep.
  • No alcohol or substances — avoid these for the full day before your session. They significantly reduce the clarity and depth of the trance state and can limit what’s accessible.
  • Find a quiet space — for online sessions, choose somewhere private where you won’t be interrupted. Lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Headphones are strongly recommended.
  • Come with openness — you don’t need to know what you’re looking for or have everything figured out. Willingness is the only real requirement.

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state that the mind enters regularly on its own. When facilitated with care and intention, it is deeply safe. You remain conscious and in control throughout — nothing can be done to you that you do not allow.

Sessions are not recommended for individuals currently experiencing active psychosis, severe dissociative disorders, or certain psychiatric conditions. If you have any concerns about whether this work is appropriate for your situation, the Clarity Consultation is the right first step — it allows for a genuine conversation before any commitment is made.

Spiritual & Deeper Work

Yes — and for many clients, this is where the most profound shifts occur. In a deep trance state, it becomes possible to access past life material, visit healing spaces at the level of consciousness, connect with your higher self, and receive communication from guides or higher intelligence. These aren’t produced or invented — they emerge organically from the subconscious when the conditions are right.

Whether you hold spiritual beliefs or approach this purely as a psychological process, the experiences that arise in this state tend to carry meaning and produce real, lasting change. The subconscious doesn’t require a particular worldview to do its work.

No. The subconscious doesn’t require belief to be accessed , it simply requires a state of receptivity. Clients who come with no spiritual framework whatsoever often experience some of the deepest sessions, because they arrive without expectation and simply follow what emerges.

What matters is openness, not conviction. You don’t need to believe in past lives for regression material to surface, or in guides for higher-self communication to occur. You just need to be willing to follow the experience wherever it leads.

No. The Divine Awakening Method is not therapy, psychotherapy, or medical treatment, and does not replace professional mental health care or medical advice. Sessions work at the level of subconscious and energetic transformation — they are not diagnostic, therapeutic in the clinical sense, or intended to treat any medical or psychiatric condition.

If you are currently working with a therapist, psychiatrist, or doctor, this work can complement that care — but it does not substitute for it. When in doubt, please consult your healthcare provider.

Practical & Booking

All sessions are conducted privately online via Zoom or Google Meet — accessible from anywhere in the world. For clients in Los Angeles, private on-location sessions are also available, conducted at your home or preferred space.

Online sessions are just as effective as in-person work. The depth of trance and quality of the session are not diminished by distance.

Packages are paid in full upfront and scheduled flexibly — meaning you choose when each session takes place according to what works for your life and the integration process. There’s no rigid timeline imposed.

Each session in a package builds on the last, following a specific arc designed for the area you’re working in. The spacing between sessions is something we determine together based on your experience and readiness.

Two options — both free. You can take the Find Your Session quiz on the homepage, which asks a few questions and gives you a personalized recommendation based on where you are and what you’re working with.

Or you can book a complimentary 10-minute Clarity Consultation — a brief private call to talk through your situation and find out exactly which session or package is the right fit before any commitment is made.
